Part-time consultant positions are available at the SU Language Centre’s Writing Laboratory for postgraduate students registered at the University of Stellenbosch. Preference is given to M and D students.
Students from the following faculties are encouraged to apply:
Economic and Management Sciences, Engineering, AgriSciences, Natural Sciences and Arts and Social Sciences (Psychology).
Responsibilities of the consultants will include:
- Conducting individual writing consultations with students
- Writing short reports concerning consultations
- Participating in a training programme
- Assisting with marketing and profiling of the Writing Laboratory’s consultation service
- Meeting regularly with the Heads of the Writing Laboratory
Being bilingual in English and Afrikaans is an advantage, but not a requirement.
