Kampusresies

As deel van ons 10-jaar vieringe sal 52 studente Vrydagmiddag (28 September) aan ʼn kampusresies deelneem.

Altesame 13 groepe met vier lede elk sal na ses verskillende punte (geboue) oor kampus beweeg. Hulle sal by elke gebou ʼn leidraad in Afrikaans/Engels ontvang wat hulle na die volgende gebou sal stuur. Die groep wat eerste by die eindpunt opdaag, wen ʼn kontantprys van R500 elk. Studente sal dus hul taalkennis, maar ook hul kennis van plekke op kampus moet gebruik om die resies suksesvol te voltooi.

Hierdie aktiwiteit is een van twee wat vir studente gehou word om die Taalsentrum se 10-jarige bestaan te vier. Die ander studente-aktiwiteit is ʼn aanlynkompetisie waarop studente Afrikaanse en Engelse neologismes moet skep. Studente met die beste neologisme wen dan ook kontantpryse.

Die kampusresies begin by Bosmanstraat 7 en dit skop af om 13:00. Dit behoort nie langer as ʼn uur te duur nie (afhangende van hoe vinnig die deelnemers die roete kan voltooi).
